Earlier this year I photographed my beautiful friend & fellow photographer, Erica Hufnell, at Studio 47 in Southern Maryland. Our vision for the shoot was simple...a beloved sweater, a clean canvas, & both of her babies captured on digital & film. A simple idea, but like any seasoned mother (or hybrid photographer), we came overly prepared with three cameras, multiple outfits, a stack of books, & snacks...plenty of snacks for sweet, Noah.
Our time at the studio was spent swapping film cameras, sharing second pregnancy stories, & chasing Noah (and her apple) in & out of the morning light. It was a session that reminded me of my early days as a mother of two...joyful, a bit chaotic, & better than I could have ever imagined.
